Parking at SM City Cebu may not be easily available whenever an event is held over the weekend. Another important consideration when planning for an event here in the rainy season is that the areas around the mall have the tendency to get flooded during heavy downpours. Nevertheless, the city government is now looking to address the problem.

SOUTH ROAD PROPERTIES
The South Road Properties is a reclamation project straddling the cities of Cebu and Talisay. It is envisioned to become the next commercial hub of Metro Cebu. The area was the venue for a number of concerts, car races, religious events, and music festivals.
One notable event that was held at the South Road Properties was the LifeDance Cebu 2016. The grand parade of the annual Sinulog Festival may also be held at the South Road Properties starting next year. The Cebu City government owns the place and determines all rental fees related to events.
Public transportation is not readily available in the area so event organizers would sometimes provide free transportation to commuters. Parking is not at all an issue; the venue is surrounded by open areas where visitors can park their vehicles. However, motorists should take note that South Road Properties’ security personnel may not be able to secure the entire area due to its size.
