Summer is the best season to get moving. According to Coca-Cola Company website, sunlight has something to do with feeling energized. Ultraviolet rays trigger the production of serotonin, also known as “happy hormones,” that put us in a good mood.[1] Hence, everybody feels enthusiastic to try new things and socialize when it’s not pouring outside.

With that in mind, let us take advantage of the fair weather and try these new places in Metro Manila while Mr. Sun is still up.

A number of food park are popping up in every corner of Metro Manila, but we can rarely find a park in an urbanized area where we can jog, walk our fur babies, or just spend time alone looking at the lush greeneries. Bonifacio Global City or BGC, which is becoming an art hub in the middle of a busy city, has added a new space where people can go for a run for free.

BGC Greenway Park opened on October 2016, connecting the McKinley Parkway to different offices and residential areas in the business district. It is a 1.6-km stretch landscape and is the longest urban park in Metro Manila. Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBDC) worked together to put up this space so residents and the working community can have an area away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you are a tourist roaming around the area, might as well go to near establishments to see mural paintings and graffiti around the area.

The Greenway Park is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
