The sun will still be out throughout the week but the weather will be a little better as clouds will dominate the skies. A quick getaway on the weekend is still possible, but precaution is necessary as the probability of light rain and thunderstorm are high. But overall, the good weather will last until the end of the week.

Earth Hour 2017

This week, climate change is at the forefront as Earth Hour 2017 takes place on March 25. Various groups and personalities will rally together at the SM Mall of Asia By the Bay to educate the masses about the ongoing climate change that is happening around the world. This year’s event will also focus on how to encourage the youth to be the climate leaders of tomorrow.

The event will start at 4:30 PM. An Earth Hour Camp will be set up featuring various booths that will educate visitors about the current condition of our planet and the ways that people can do to help lessen the Earth’s environmental problems.

At 8:30 PM the main event will take place as the world’s most iconic landmarks will switch off their lights for one hour. People who won’t be attending the event are still encouraged to participate by switching off their lights at home for one hour.

For now, PAL uses their all-economy Airbus A330 for the said flights but will soon shift to their bi-class Airbus A330 come June to give passengers the option to choose between regular economy, premium economy, and business class service.
