From December 25 to January 7, you can feast your eyes on eight local full-length films that made it to the list for the Metro Manila Film Festival. Choose from Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2: #ForeverIsNot Enough, Die Beautiful, Kabisera, Oro, Saving Sally, Seklusyon, Sunday Beauty Queen, and Vince Kath & James.

If you’re into theater, you can watch A Christmas Carol musical on December 25, 7:00 PM at BGC Globe Iconic Amphitheater, in Taguig City. Based on a well-loved novel by Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol is about Ebenezer Scrooge, a rich man who doesn’t value anything and anyone except money. He then encounters ghosts that show him his past, present, and future. The lessons learned in these ghostly encounters set the stage for the true spirit of Christmas. You can be sure that it will be a fun and touching musical that’s perfect for this season.

On December 23, you can watch the star-studded 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival Parade, sometimes called the Parade of Stars. The parade gives a preview of what to expect in the eight full-length films for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. Each film will have its own float that showcases the stars of the movies, so you can expect to see local celebrities such as Nora Aunor, Rhian Ramos, Ricky Davao, and Joel Torre. The 2016 Metro Manila Festival Parade will start at the Manila City Hall and will end at Plaza Miranda in Quiapo, Manila.

Celebrate Christmas with a grand display of lights and fireworks.


If you and your family are in the Pasay area, you can cap off the Christmas night with The Grand Festival of Lights. This will be held at the North and South Arcades of SM Mall of Asia at 5:30 PM. Santa Claus and friends will join the revelry and spread the holiday cheer to spectators. You can also watch the parade of magical floats to make the Christmas celebration a lot more fun and memorable for kids and adults alike.

Well-loved Disney characters are set to perform at the Mall of Asia Arena on Christmas day.


Disney characters are well-loved not only by kids but also by adults whose childhood memories are filled with classic Disney stories. If you are a fan of Mickey Mouse, Rapunzel, Timon and Pumbaa, Anna and Elsa, and Buzz, we’ve got great news for you. On December 25, you can make lasting moments with friends and family when you watch The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice. You can go on an exciting journey with well-known Disney stories that will make Christmas unforgettable. It will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena, in Pasay City at 11:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 7:00 PM. Ticket prices range from PhP190.00 to PhP5,000.00.
